We're seeking talented and experienced mechanical engineers to join our team in 
the greater New York City area to spearhead the development work.

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer with a strong background 
in computational physics, hands-on testing, and new product development. The 
ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leading the design, simulation, and 
prototyping of cutting-edge mechanical systems.

You will be responsible for analytical and numerical analyses of concepts. You 
will use deep knowledge of physics, especially fluids, turbomachines and 
aerodynamics to analyze and develop performance estimates. A combination of 
systematic thinking, engineering tinkering, imagination and pragmatic decision 
making is necessary. Being able to quickly learn new skills and tools is a must. 
But above all, having a natural intuition for solving technical problems is the 
core skill requirement.

Key Responsibilities
-CAD modeling, CFD, Multiphysics modeling, product engineering, 
production/manufacturing skills
- Direct hands-on testing and experimentation to validate designs and improve 
performance
- Spearhead prototyping efforts for new product development initiatives
- Analyze test results and provide data-driven recommendations for design 
improvements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Contribute to strategic planning and technical roadmap

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's degree 
preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering product development 
role
- Proven track record in product development and project management
- Proficiency in CAD and CFD. Strong background in computational physics and 
modeling
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and design iteration

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in thermal management, energy efficiency, or data center 
infrastructure
- Experience with First of a Kind (FOAK) development
- Design for manufacturability (DFM) experience
- Interesting personal side projects

Location
Greater New York City area. Candidates willing to relocate will be considered.
