Software Engineer for DEM / CFD-DEM (f/m/d)

Work on Exciting CAE Products with a Successful Simulation Software Company!

Full-time or part-time (from 30 hours), immediate start, Location: Vienna, Austria (onsite)

Are you ready to shape the future of simulation technology? We are an established and successful simulation software company developing CAE software and are looking for a highly energetic and motivated person with an engineering and software background. Your role will be to further develop our cutting-edge software technology in a collaborative environment, backed by the expertise and resources of a successful simulation software company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Further develop our software products Aspherix® and CFDEM®coupling in the frame of customer and research projects, creating added value for the customer and DCS.
• Develop scientific models into source code (C++, MPI, GPU) and improve the graphical user interface (Qt).
• Work with and improve our continuous testing / integration workflows.
• Work with and improve our deployment workflows.
• Depending on your previous experience, take on project managerial tasks.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Master’s or a PhD degree in fluid mechanics, solid mechanics, material science, process engineering, particle technology, or similar fields with interest and experience in modeling physics and flow processes using the Discrete Element Method (DEM) or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
• Experience in software development.
• A proactive attitude and interest in working on a product in an agile environment.
• Ability and willingness to work independently and contribute your ideas to the product development.
