POSTDOC VACANCY

We are looking for an excellent postdoc for a 3-year research position to reinforce our Aerospace Engineering team at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh campus. 

The topic will be either Topic 1 or Topic 2, or both:
- Topic 1: Autonomous flight systems, with focus on pushing the boundaries for unmanned aerial vehicles 
- Topic 2: Sports aerodynamics, with focus on pushing the boundaries in cycling and athletics 

Both to be investigated using CFD and wind tunnel testing. The selected candidate will be supervised by Bert Blocken. Collaboration with leading companies such as Ansys and a top professional cycling team (in case op topic 2) is envisaged.
