ParCFD 2011, the
International Conference on Parallel CFD and held in
Barcelona this year from 16-20 May, will begin on May 16th
with a full-day tutorial featuring GPUs for CFD Applications.
The agenda includes topics on practical and advanced
development procedures from NVIDIA, PGI, and CAPS,
and will present CFD case studies including: Porting of
FEFLO to Multi-GPU Clusters by Dr. Rainald Lohner
of George Mason University, USA,
who is also a ParCFD plenary speaker; and
WARIS: A General strategy for Computational Mechanics on
GPUs by Dr. Mauricio Hanzich and Mr. Felix Rubio of the
Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Spain.
