We have an urgent opening for a project 
assistant in CFD for offshore 
engineering. 
Background:
We develop meshless solver for offshore 
applications. There are multiple aspects 
to this project involving high performance 
computing, visualization, UI 
development etc. A Project Assistant is sought 
with knowledge in Fluid dynamics 
and CFD. 

Start date: 1 May 2025.
Location: IIT Delhi, India.
Pay: JRF scale.  
Duration: upto 1 year. 

Mandatory qualifications: 
1. BTech (or Masters) in Aero, Mech, Civil, 
Chem. Engg. etc. disciplines.
2. Familarity running CFD simulations, 
validating results against those 
available in literature. Solid understanding 
of flow physics for appreciating 
CFD results. 
3. Writing skills for documenting results and 
preparing user manual. 

Optional additional skills:
1. GUI development usiong python or C++
2. Benchmarking performance of CFD solvers
3. Experience visualizing complex flow 
problems.
