The Computational Fluid Flows (CFF) Research Group at the Department of 
Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, IIT Hyderabad invites applications for a 
Postdoctoral position to conduct advanced computational research on the 
aerodynamic breakup of non-spherical droplets.

Position Details:
Duration: Full-time, up to three years

Salary: ₹71,920 per month (including HRA)

Number of Positions: 1

Teaching Duties: None

Desired Qualifications
1) Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics, CFD, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, 
   awarded within the last three years.

2) Proficiency and experience of using OpenFOAM for numerical simulations in 
   fluid dynamics.

3) Experience in multi-phase flow simulations.

Preferred Skills:

1) Expertise in programming and custom solver development in OpenFOAM.

2) Research experience in droplet dynamics.

3) Candidates with a strong experimental background and a proven publication 
   record in droplet dynamics studies may also be considered.
