The Department of Civil Engineering at Florida International University (ranked 
among the top 50 public universities in the U.S.) is offering a fully funded PhD 
position starting on Summer 2025 or Fall 2025. This position focuses on CFD 
modeling of dams, spillways, and auxiliary structures (e.g., gates). Experience 
with machine learning/AI is a plus. Preference will be given to students already 
in the U.S.
