The University of Exeter is funding a number of Doctoral Landscape Award studentships across the range of the EPSRC Remit; and this includes 3 studentships in CFD and related areas. As follows; Project 1 Use of Machine Learning techniques to Accelerate CFD (Tabor/Chu) - the project will look at ML-enabled turbulence models, solution techniques, and GPU computing. Project 2 Integrated multi-agent LLM and CFD as Bi-level optimizer for Thermohydraulic Applications (Chu/Tabor) - using Large Language Models (LLMs) to propose designs for thermofluid systems which will then be evaluated using CFD (OpenFOAM) Project 3 Quantum uncertainty quantification-QUQ (Rappel/Tabor) will investigate Quantum Computing as a route to Uncertainty Quantification.
