The project is funded by SERB-SURE for Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project 
Associate-1 for a duration of 3 years and entails studying the manipulation of 
particles in microchannels for point-of-care diagnostic devices.

Responsibilities: 
Develop a numerical algorithm using IB-LBM.
Carry out numerical simulations.
Analyze the simulation data and infer the flow physics.

Qualifications: 
First class Post Graduate/ Graduate Degree (M.E./M.Tech./M.S.) in Mechanical 
Engineering/Thermal Engineering, selected through National Eligibility 
Tests:CSIR–UGC NET and GATE.
**Candidates who have not appeared in the above examinations may be considered 
for the position.

Required Skills: Fundamental knowledge of fluid mechanics; basic mathematics 
including calculus, linear algebra and numerical analysis. 

Fellowship Amount (Rs.):
NET/GATE qualified candidates: 37,000 pm + 16% HRA
